If you’re not far from grand central it’s definitely doable and isn’t so bad, there are some very good jobs in Finance over there. I also considered a job offer out there, would’ve taken a 730 train to get to Greenwich by 815 and a 6-630 train to get back by 7-730.Good grocery shopping as well and if you’re on a side street, it’s usually pretty quiet. That being said, you’re not going to find trendy restaurants or a major nightlife scene. Transit access is ok but of course will have to transfer to go to ….
