Mine uses a Std AR 15 small format lower. As one would think that it is too weak to withstand the 50 BMG in aactuality there is not much stress on the 2 pins on the lower. The Upper is a one piece 4140 chrome moly piece. This one uses a Std AR15 lower. In particular, I'm looking at the Zel Custom Manufacturing Tactilite T2 bolt action with a side loading 5 round magazine and the tank brake, despite the upwards of a 12 month back order on their barrels.
