With the recent completion of an eight-year campus redevelopment project, including the opening of the Nancy and Rich Kinder Building in 2020, it is the 12th largest art museum in the world based on square feet of gallery space. We offer a number of ways to enjoy the Museum for free. For example, MFAH members receive free admission every day, and Family-level memberships include the children in the household. Children 12 and younger are always admitted free, and on weekends ages 18 and younger receive free admission when they show their card from any Texas public library.
